The 2 star Di Ann Hotel is placed at the heart of Amsterdam with the city's attractions, shopping and nightlife close at hand. The location of the Di Ann Hotel really is fantastic and it's the convenience of this hotel matched by its great value accommodation that's proving so popular with visitors to Amsterdam.

Housed within five separate buildings with original style windows, the hotel has 41 bedrooms. We found the rooms to be fairly small and basic, but very clean. The best way to describe the Di Ann Hotel is a great budget hotel with clean rooms in a central location.

From the entrance of the hotel to the reception area there are 37 steep steps, so it's not suitable for everyone. But if you don't mind the climb, the Di Ann offers clean, safe accommodation in a superb location. The hotel even has its own mascot - a cat - that has befriended guests of this hotel for a number of years.

The Di Ann Hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant but there's a very comfortable seating area/breakfast room with a terrace overlooking the street below - you'll see the Westerchurch to your left and Dam Square to your right. This room has two large flat screen TV's and there are two computers with Internet access.

And another thing, the Di Ann Hotel has kept all of its original windows which really adds to the character of the hotel.
