This museum is dedicated to the Jewish Anne Frank whose unique diaries provided an account of the Nazi’s occupation of Amsterdam during World War II that was both horrifying yet wholly inspirational. See the tiny hidden rooms that allowed Anne Frank and her family to hide from the Nazis for all that time. The rest of the museum demonstrates the life and times of Anne Frank and shows the true price of unbridled discrimination and racism. As one of the most popular attractions in the city be aware that there may be significant queues but be patient as you will find the wait was worth it. All in all, quite a moving experience.
