NEMO (The National Centre for Science and Technology) is one of the biggest and best science and technology centers in Europe.

You'll recognize NEMO as an unusual shaped state of the art buiding, which resembles a huge green ship docked on the Oosterdok on the eastern harbour. Once you're inside the whole experience can be quite overwhelming. From the inspiring Skylights and staircases, amazing colors fill the whole interior.

This technology museum is designed for maximum interactive fun and learning. NEMO houses lots of experiments and exhibitions. No matter what your interests may be you are guaranteed to learn something new from this science park and enjoy doing so.

There are 4 floors, suiting children of all ages with giant soap bubbles, experiments in the chemistry lab to hoisting oneself to the ceiling or even solving murder mysteries on board. At NEMO you can explore the 'Wonder Lab', see the 'Why the world works?' exhibition, experiment on the digital playground and lots lots more.

Visitors who are not particularly interested in science and technology should head up to the rooftop viewing deck which boast the most incredible views of the city. During the summer the viewing deck is transformed into a beach during this time an extra fee is charged.

It’s worth a trip if even to view the spectacular surroundings and architecture if nothing else in NEMO. This is an attraction for all the family as it's educational, exciting and fun!
